Miss Great Britain-Entry Rules Expanded

It is with great pleasure that we can announce that Miss Great Britain 2013 have dropped all entry restrictions relating to marriage and parenthood.  Being a wife or mother has no bearing on career minded women in the 21st century so we strongly believe that a woman that is or has been married or has children can be a strong positive role model for others.

The new-look Miss Great Britain competition hopes to capitalise and build upon Britain’s successes of 2012 and opens up the opportunity for many young women to compete and succeed in a field where they may not have previously been granted access.  We want to promote strong, beautiful and intelligent women as a whole and do not believe this can be done if we discriminate against any demographic.
