Moving onto entering beauty competitions, Liz won the
Miss Cardiff, Miss Wales Universe, Miss Great Britain , and
Miss Dream Girl Bikini. This was the start of a modelling career that took Liz all over the world, signing with agencies in South Africa, America, and shooting international campaigns for
Kronenbourg 1664, Fosters, Sol Beer, Timberland, and TV commercials for
Boots No 7 Makeup, Suzuki, Lilt, and
Pearl Drops.Liz in 2008 signed as the face of French haute couturier
Rachel Elbaz ‘Dream’ Perfume with the campaign covering London, Moscow, Dubai and Paris.
Following a BA Degree in Journalism from the University of Wales Cardiff, Liz went onto present TV shows
The Pop Factory, Record of the Year, The Last Word, Welsh Music Awards, and
Love on the Rocks (all ITV). With another string to her bow Liz wrote, pitched, produced and presented
Numberplate Heaven for Men and Motors Sky Channel, upwards of 30 shows for the
The Dating Channel and a series of 54 x5 minute reports for Peakviewing on
Best Spas and hotels .Liz was a top 5 finalist for the BBC Three Nations Production Talent, gaining a brilliant reputation behind the scenes devising new formats and ideas.

QuizCall on Five which lasted a mammoth 3 years every weekend. Liz has also hosted ‘The Richard Attenborough film awards’, ‘The Swansea Film Festival Awards’ and ‘Transformers world premiere’, and for charity ‘The Royal Variety Club Ball’, ‘The Bafta James Bond Medi-Cinema Night’, ‘Cancer Research UK Quiz Night’, ‘The Great Ormond Street Charity Night’ and ‘Reach4Fashion’.
In 2008, Liz wanted to spend time on a mission and visited 3 orphanages in Delhi, India and became instrumental in a £15k donation from Lehman Brothers Bankers to The Asharan Orphanage. Olivia Newton-John then invited Liz to join her in China on ‘The Great Walk to Beijing’, along with Joan Rivers, Sir Cliff Richard and Dannii Minogue. Liz helped raise £15K for Olivia’s new cancer research centre in Melbourne. Liz has been honored by the Shipibo tribe in the Amazon with a tribal friendship bracelet to say thanks for aiding cancer research there. Liz is also an ambassador for Cancer Research UK, Shelter Cymru, and Wooden Spoon.
Back in 2005, Liz bought the Miss Great Britain Licence with a financial backer and successfully reinvented the nation’s favourite beauty title back into the celebrity arena, a month after the 2006 final Liz sold her shares. In August 2009 Liz bought Miss Great Britain back 100% and is passionate about giving other girls the same opportunities she has thoroughly enjoyed.
